Delete Your Account & Data

You can delete your Pet Note account and everything in it at any time, directly from the app. This page explains exactly what happens, what's deleted, and an email fallback if you can't get to your device.
Before you delete
Deletion is immediate and permanent, there's no grace period or undo. Pet Note doesn't currently have a data export feature, so before you delete your account, it's worth taking a moment to screenshot anything you'd want to keep for your own records, such as vaccination dates, microchip details, insurance policy numbers, or photos of receipts and passport-style pet records.
Delete your account in the app
- Open Pet Note and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Type the confirmation text shown on screen to confirm you understand this can't be undone.
- Confirm. Your account and its data are deleted immediately.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account cascades through everything tied to it, including:
- your account profile (email, display name, avatar photo, timezone);
- every pet profile you've created;
- all timeline events, daily notes, appointments, medications, preventive care and symptoms;
- all photos and receipt images attached to those records;
- all reminders and their schedules; and
- device records associated with your account.
Nothing is kept in a recoverable form after deletion beyond the brief backup retention window described in our Privacy Policy.
Can't access the app?
If you no longer have the app or can't sign in, email [email protected] from the email address on your Pet Note account, with the subject line "Delete my Pet Note account". We'll verify the request and action it within 30 days.
A note on purchases
If you've subscribed to Care+, that purchase is billed and managed through your App Store or Google Play account settings, not through Pet Note. Deleting your Pet Note account does not automatically cancel a store subscription, you'd need to cancel it separately through Apple or Google to stop future billing.
